Question To swap or not!

Here is the scoop here is the truck

I would like to swap the front suspensioin from this truck

BUT here is my dilema, I can get drop spindles from MotherTruckers
that will allow me to not bother with the suspension swap ( stronger crossmember on my 69), less time spent, and less $$$ to do it, since I am getting drop spindles anyhow, and just upgrade my brakes to the newer style and bolt up to the original balljoints tie rods etc...

So do I swap the suspension and be able to use newer suspension parts on it
OR
keep the old suspension and get the drop spindles and be able to convert to 5 bolt discs,

Well just about 40 people have read this post but not one feedback on it.

I am sure people have opinions out there.

I would keep the 69 setup and upgrade to disk brakes and new front suspension parts. I own a 68 and recently lowered it with new drop spindles, 1" lower springs, disc brakes and new ball joints and tie-rods etc. Easy to do and works great. Just my 2 cents.

When I did my swap, there were no aftermarket parts for the 67-72s. the longhorn has 75 spindles, brakes balljoints, & tierod assys......original top a arms, & 71-72 lower arms(its set up for a 73 up bell tech spindle). Take a look at all the front end pcs on the 69, & if they are in good shape, your best bet would probably be going with the aftermarket dropped spindle to fit the truck....if you have a lot of worn parts, you could go either way & probably not see any diff in price. Good luck, crazyL

That was taken this winter and since it is the truck I was given to rape parts off of I didn't bother taking more pics of it.

THe parts raping has begun, stole the power steering pump and steering box off of ot today, but ran out of daylight to swap it on my truck so it will have to wait till next weekend or the weekend after that.
