Grill swap 71-72 in place of 70

I have a '70 swb chevy. What do I do to swap a 71-72 grill in place of the original? Any help here is appreciated as usual. Thanks!

You will need a 71-72 hood latch and grill support along with a 71/72 bumper with parking lights, other than that, bolt it in

I agree. Why swap out a grill from one year to another, unless his is beyond repair and he happens to have the next version available.

I just like the way the 71-72 looks a little better than the 70. It's a close race but I have to get a new grill and new front boer anyway.

it is possible to get your fingers through the grill to open it without changing the latch...and i left my original bumper and hid the original directionals behind the grille...i think the 72 looks better too

Hiding the lights behind the grill...now that sounds like a good idea. I like the idea of a cleaner look. You wouldn't happen to have any pics of how you mounted them would you?
