Torsion Bar Questions
I'm going to be putting new tires on my '95 K2500 this fall, and I'll be putting 285/75R16's on it. I know the tires will fit fine, but I'd like to make the truck sit a little higher. As an experiment I cranked up the torsion bars until the adjustments were maxed out and it raised the front 1.5 inches, which is probably enough to look good with 285's. This leads me to my question, do aftermarket torsion keys actually gain any adjustment over the stock keys or are they just a bunch of hype?
My current plan is to run 285's, crank the torsion bars, and put new u-bolts and a 1" block on the rear, because I want the truck to still have some stance to it.
