Mechanical Speedometer with electronic signal??

I'm getting tired of using a GPS unit for a speedometer. My truck has an electronic transmission (4l60e), so I can't use the mechanical cable anymore. I've seen the cable-x. Has anyone here ever used it? It's a black box that spins a speedo cable from an electronic signal. I think TCI has a similar unit, but I haven't been able to find anywhere to buy it. What do you guys recommend I do? I want to use the original guages if possible..

I have converted my spedo to one with an electronic signal. It has 2 wires that come up from the trans. I will send a pic and more info later on in the evening....
