Had a real stress full day today. Nothing got done parts that were suppose to be here weren't. Aaaaaahhhhhhh
I took a week off from work to finish this truck and I need it done. I plan on driving it everyday.

Hub to hub with 12" rotors and bags 3000. No limit motor sports. It's not a mustang II set up. Wide ride it's called. Pretty badass I may say.

i found it all has to do with tire size, how you mount your bags, what bags your using, overall lift and min bag height, ride height, to figure out what size notch you are going to need to build to achieve what you want.

I took all that into consideration for my build and i think i came up with something that should get my rockers on the ground.

I had to notch mine 11" to lay down on 31" tires. The notch at Joe Hortons Welder Series will give you 8" +/-, so in theory it would lay on 28" tires.

Yea. I had to do a huge notch because I wanted the bags ontop of the axel to pull a car trailer. It will lay a 30" tire easily. Both front and rear. It's coming alone reall good. Going to finish up the rear tomm.

Few more. So far I have 6 full days into it. I hope to be driving it by the end of the week. It has really been kicking my arse. But it will be worth it's weight in gold!!! I will drive it every day

Just a little run down of me. I love old cars. Especially early Impalas and bel air's. I'm 40 years old and tired of driving the same old bs. Tahoe silverado blah blah blah. I sold my tahoe and turbo charged Seadoo to build this truck. I figured why buy a used truck to depriciate in value. Why not build a old truck. Update it correctly and drive it everyday. So here I am.

I get it about wanting to drive something different and being tired of the same old stuff. Buddy of mine is planning same.

Jd2 hydraulic bender. I stoked to drive this. Thank you for the compliment bud. This is the fastest I ever built a truck from scratch!!! I'm physically and mentally burnt from it. Lol

Thanks bud. Yes I was going to use them for now but they don't fit!!!!! Aaaaahhhhhhh the inside has a lip on them and it won't slide on front or rear.

Progress.
All Accuair sensors are mounted. Brake line in. Fuel lines in. Gas tank in. Vhx Dakota digital sensors in. Rad support painted with rad in. Not to much more. The exhaust is going to be next.

Yeah bud. I took two weeks off of work to get this truck done. Work is a little slow so my boss said it was no big deal. I should have the entire truck all back together by Friday. That is my goal. And once it's done I will post a whole lot more pictures on how and why I did everything the way it is. It took me a half a day to figure out where to mount the sensors for the I level. But I really wanted that feature. All in all the truck is coming together very nicely and I wish I had more time because I would do a lot more things
