Red face Southern Iowa here.

Hello !

My name is Tony, i am from Murray Iowa, a small rural farm community in south central Iowa. I have been married for 17 years and have 2 awesome kids...one just graduated and moved out this year, thank God !
My truck is a 1970 GMC C 2500, 2wd, 350 4bbl with factory 4 speed. My grandap bought this truck brand new from a dealership and immediately went to work as a farm truck, hauling hay and deisel fuel, pulling wagons, etc. My grandpa passed in 1996 and my uncle took it and continued to use it as a farm truck...with no fear of abusing it...until i bought it from him for $1500 about 2 months ago.
I hope some day it will look a little better, but at the moment just making it so i can drive it to more than just my fishing spot is going to take a lot more than i can manage. We are recovering from a house fire last year, we lost everything but had really good insurance. Even so we are still replacing things and still working on the new house. Just built a new 24 x 14 deck and bought a new John Deere rider, and other things we needed so my budget is down to whatever is left after paying the bills and buying gas.

I am looking forward to meeting everyone and checking out your trucks. Hopefully i can get some ideas that will save me enough money to avoid making to many shortcuts. Not having a garage i will have all winter to collect parts, and get things figured out.

The second photo is the ONLY photo that exists of the original truck, that is me in the photo when i was 4 years old.
