Are 15x10 worth it?

Just looking at my 15x10 rally rims and going over tire options. I have my trans set up for a 28 in tire. 275/60r15 is 27.99" and thats the closest to 28" and the widest I can find in street tires. I can get something wider by MT but then ill have two different tires on my ride and don't like that look. street front and performance rear on the road everyday just doesn't seem right to me for a cruiser. If there is no other option I guess ill stick to my 6 1/2" front and 8" rears and keep the 10"s for the track.

I guess my question is are there any other options for the 10 rim?

Bump for you, running into the same ish with my 10 inchers, been trying to avoid rubbing in any way and keep them all the same height.

Hey there
i have 15x10 on all 4 corners 295/50/15 which is just about 27" depending on brand of tire...which still puts you at about an 1" short but its nothing to change the speedo driven gear to match tci.com has a great calculator for doing that as well and you can get the gears pretty reasonable on ebay

I thought Coker used to have something 28 tall and a little wider but I can't find it. I thought it was silver something

I guess it would depend on if you like the staggered look or not. The one draw back I have (F 15x8 R 15x10) is that you cannot really rotate directional tires. I have a longbed and like the look of 275s in the rear (I do not drag race), but I would also be happy with 15x8 on all four corners so I could rotate.
