Front end swap
I know this has probably been discussed on here and if someone could point me to the appropriate thread I would appreciate it. I'm entertaining the thought of putting 73-74 sheet metal on the front of my 81 and was wonder what problems I will encounter or if it is even possible. Thanks

Re: Front end swap
Should be a direct bolt on with some minor tweaking the harder swap is going 73-79 to 81 an up the cabs have different holes for the hood to bolt up that you've got to workout, Hope that helps you!

Re: Front end swap
You'll have to switch out the wipers to the older year

Re: Front end swap
Pics would be very helpful. What is different about the doors, when you look up replacement doors they go from 73-77 and then 78-87? Does that have to do with brackets that mount the interior components?

Re: Front end swap
Doors are 73-76 and 77 up. It has to do with the interior panel mounting.
