best quality rubber weather strips

I'm going to be putting together my 65 c10 after paint and was wondering who has the best quality weather strips? I built a 71 c10 back in 2001 and found the ones from Imc to crack premarurely. Also I heard somewhere that the 73-87 door weatherstrip clips in instead of glues and is easier to installfor our trucks-- is this true? I need pretty much all weatherstrip rubber. Thanks.

Re: best quality rubber weather strips

For the window channel and wipers I have had the best sets from Brothers. And for the door seals Soft Seal has been the best no matter what I have used them in.

Re: best quality rubber weather strips

Search for weatherstripping from Honda. Someone on here used civic (?) weatherstripping and said they fit perfect.

Thats true for LMC (made overseas).. I replace all the door seals, vent seals, glass seals, fuel filler grommet twice already on my 60 stepper. Went with Steele rubber (american made) and very happy and my doors close alot better!

Re: best quality rubber weather strips

the 67-72 door seals don't fit, but the honda fits great on the 64-66.
