New Owner Info
I am in the process of buying a 70 C/10; this is my first Chevy truck to restore. I have done many Ford F100s from the 50s, so I have the basic know how, but I was hoping you guys could give me a good "starter kit" of suppliers, factory shop manual sources, etc.
Thanks, Paul |

The link above will take you to the home site for this board and on the left side is plenty of suppliers. I have dealt with BIG ORANGE and HUCK on this board and I highly recommend them both. There are several people on this board I would also have no fear of dealing with...WES, GMC Paul, Tim Christian, MOTHERTRUCKERS, JUNKYARDJOHN I am sure there are many others but these are the people I have been recommended so far so I apologize for anyone not on this list I just dont have the experience yet. From what I hear you may wanna beware of a person in LONE OAK Texas.........

70' shortbed 2wd, shaved sidemarker lights, smoothed tailgate and molded in steel rollpan, 16' billet wheels and a tweed interior.
350sb,th350. The previous owner says the color is an orange sherbert shade. As far as motors are concerned, i've got a built 466 bb ford mill waiting for a home...... |

A BB Ford needing a home ehi---might suggest a street rod so you can work on it easier!! heheheh Actually I used to run Fords---56 &57 T-birds and 65 Mustangs. Then the 70's stuff was so bad I never went back. Welcome to the board----you will love the 67-72 trucks---easy to work on, parts are relatively cheep and lots of information/conversions available. You can run up to a 502 with little to no modifications.
