1965 C10 Fleetside Project
I purchased this truck about a year ago. I plan to give it a modernization upgrade. It will be getting a 5.3LS and a 4L60e transmission. Power steering and power disk brakes.

Got it on the rotisserie, I built the rotisserie from a couple harbor freight engine stands.

CaptainFabs template for power steering conversion. I used a light behind the frame rail to locate holes.

NICE! What are your plans for the body? Looks good enough to leave it alone.

Re: 1965 C10 Fleetside Project
I have been working on truck for a couple months now, I would like to have the wheels back on before winter. The frame stand is just thrown together, picked up a couple engine stands from HF and wheels off EBay. Bought the 2inch tubing new from my local supply house. I have around $250.00 in frame stand.

Re: 1965 C10 Fleetside Project
Thanks, I was a all about cars and truck when I was much younger but kinda got away from them when my kids were still home. I now have a couple of son in laws that like to work on cars so they got me started again. I saw this truck on the roadside on my way to work, it sat there for a week until I couldn't stand it any longer. I stopped and checked it out, so here we go!
