Handcrafted Tailgate Chain Covers

Hi all!

Just wanted to update this post with current info. Chain covers can be ordered on our website. Lead time is about 2 weeks. I'm also going to have some in-stock, ready to ship pairs soon.

They are made for three year ranges.
• '47-'53 - 13.5" long
• '58-'66 Fleetside - 9" long
• '54-'87 Stepside - 14" long

Orders can be placed here.

Three color options as of today

Re: Handcrafted Tailgate Chain Covers

So I posted a reply to a two-three year old thread on these covers and never heard anything. I'm really interested in a set but I do have a ''66 fleetside, is there really no options as far as they are concerned? I REALLY love the looks of these things and like to get a set if there's some way that they could be made to fit.

OP's last log in was 2 months ago, so maybe he'll get back to you. Send him a pm as well because this post may alert him in his email and he'll see that it has been updated. They are nice and I like them. I'd run them on my truck.

Re: Handcrafted Tailgate Chain Covers

Thanks guys. So have been thinking about these and I know why he doesn't make them for the fleetsides, the way that they're mounted to the tuck has that plate that's so much wider than the chain and there's no way to get the cover over it. It really bums me out as I'd love to have a setup like these on my truck...

The plate will go through the sleeve.
