'67 250 choke cable

Currently at the carburetor end the cable is just bent and goes through the hole on the choke lever. I'm only guessing but this seems wrong. What normally joins the cable to the choke lever? Any pictures? It's a 250 with a 1bbl Rochester B. Thanks.

Re: '67 250 choke cable

PO put a choke on my 1972 250 I6. I like it so much I will not change it although I might put a 1968 dash cluster on it and put in a cigarette lighter. (PO used the lighter delete for the choke).
