Let's see your special two tone trucks

I want to see pics of the 69-70 special two tone white roof white rockers trucks.

Seems most update to the white between the upper and lower moldings but I just don't think it looks right with the 69-70 grille. Maybe it's because I grew up with this truck. Thats' me in the striped shirt.

Re: Let's see your special two tone trucks

Is that purple one a big block by chance? Every Canadian purple truck I've seen was. I'm curious!

Anyhow, here's mine.

Re: Let's see your special two tone trucks

Thanks for the pic Dave. The truck was 508 Dark Blue but it certainly did have a purple hue to it. It was a 307 V8 3 OTT That's a nice GMC btw.

Re: Let's see your special two tone trucks

Here is my 1972 C20 Dark Blue / Medium Blue code 559

From what I understand, it's one of the more rare custom 2 tone blue on blue with the 2nd color on the cab roof.

Re: Let's see your special two tone trucks

72Blue thats definitely a nice truck, however I believe that from what I have read on here that yours is a Custom two tone, not the Special two tone. It seems SSTim is the authority on this and he posted the differences here http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=630462
