Re: 69 short stepside build
I removed the rocker panel and cab corner. I still haven't welded the new ones in. I sandblasted and painted the motor and just recently hooked up all the brake lines

Re: 69 short stepside build
I sandblasted and painted my rear disc brakes but when I tried to put the wheels on the studs aren't long enough. they only get about a quarter inch. does anyone know who makes or have a part number for a longer wheel stud?

Re: 69 short stepside build
he started by brushing on a rust converter from eastwood, after grinding off the rust. then welded the rocker followed by the cab corner

Re: 69 short stepside build
if the line in your hand runs to that little canister on the passenger side of your transmission, that is your vacuum modulator valve hookup. It should connect to a manifold/unported vacuum source (below the throttle blades) of your carb. You can connect it right on the manifold with an NPT to hose barb adapter or on the baseplate of your carb if you have a corresponding nipple on the baseplate of the carb.
