patina 49' build
hey guys i haven't been on this forum for few years now since i had my 71 build. just picked up a 49 3100 i've been wanting to build for years now these trucks are just perfect to me in every way. got a smoking steel on this one!!! has original frame been painted with nova front clip and 350 with a 4 speed. cab has been fully redone all cab corners everything repaired and primed got this for 3g with clean title!! going to be keeping her patina look. paint interior gloss black with new accessories. laying floor boards. on some 15" cragar deluxe 69 on some white walls cant wait to get started and share some pics and get some help from you guys here on the forum!!!! just got my universal wire harness in from speed way motors.

I used the speedway kit on my 57 worked on great was pretty straight forward.

I did a lot of wiring research and got my OCD granddaughter to help keep stuff organized during the initial main runs. Then it was just making all the connections. Was pleased when I applied power and only had a couple of things to sort out.

have a question for anyone viewing this build.
i found a great deal on some 4 links bars. bottom bars are adjustable 36" top is 24" non adjustable. since its little smaller then 70% of lowers will it be fine? i havent purchased them yet but would like to bc great deal they are already welded up. or should i just wait and buy a univerasl kit where bars arent welded yet |
