I know i have been bad about posting lately, but ive had to puit my projects on hold for a while while i get things strightened up for my shop at school... ANYWAY, i just stumbled across a 63 SWB I-6 3sp truck here for sale... few dents, very little rust, and low options although it doees have all the gauges cept tach.. supposedly 57K original, and maybe cuz of the solid floors and tailgate.. i know this is a 63 but ifigured it get more response here... guy wants 2500, runs out good too, had her up to 70-75 on the interstate for 10 minutes and ran great, id have to get rid of my 74 C10 that ive worked most (cept a pesky monojet) of the prollems out and run cross country with it... whatdya think... its straight enuf where i dont think itd last long...
thanks,
--Mike

if it is rust free i your neck of the woods, it should probably demand a good price.
Check real carefully on the fenders up high and behinde the front tires...about where the CST/10 would be on our trucks. (can't remember if the 60 - 66 has a badge there or not) That is a VERY common place for rust on those ones. Other than that, the rust spots are the same, except I don't ever remember seeing one with rust in the cab roof like ours do.
I have no quote for you, just the info, and I think that www.chevytalk.com has an active 60 - 66 board. Maybe you can try there.

I think that is because pre-67 cabs did not have the inner roof skin panel, just the outer

Man, that doesn't sould too bad at all. Minn no less. See if he'll take 2000 cash, negotiate from there. I just sold a 58 LB for a friend for 2000, they said I sold it too cheap after they bought it.
