Re: WTB Complete 66 in bed spare tire holder
Do you mean the spare tire side mounting bracket for a stepside bed? If so I have one, if lovetrucks can't help... Mine is for a longbed stepside.

OK, so maybe the title didn't say it all, haha. No, 1960chevypanel, I want the inbed spare tire holder for a 1966 longbed fleetside.

If there are more than one of these available, I have an interest.

Hmm don't think I've seen one for a fleetside... Anyone have a pic? Were they factory or aftermarket?

Re: WTB Complete 66 in bed spare tire holder
I saw 1 at the local swap meet. It looked like a 67 72 type. Is there any difference?
If not I have a few of the those. |

Re: WTB Complete 66 in bed spare tire holder
Here is a pic I found after doing a search. Can't remember who posted the pic, but they said it was factory for 60-66 fleetside longbed. It's not very elaborate, I just want one. I do not know if it's the same as 67-72.

Re: WTB Complete 66 in bed spare tire holder
Not sure of the etiquette on a WTB thread in reference to potential sellers, haha. I guess lovetrucks was the first to respond, but hasn't been back. So next is southern parts, then Leroy b1. So what sounds like a fair price shipped to 75126? Anyone have any pics of the hardware that connects the tire to the bracket? I would like to wrap this up and get one on its way to me in the next few days.

Re: WTB Complete 66 in bed spare tire holder
I know that the ones that I have are from 67-72 trucks and it will be late Saturday before I can get a total with shipping. If someone else can take care of you before then, it's fine by me

Re: WTB Complete 66 in bed spare tire holder
I'm going to wait until earl84 gets his confirmed, then I want a price for one of the ones left, shipped to 77318.

Re: WTB Complete 66 in bed spare tire holder
This came up not long ago and there was a pic of the 67 to 72 and the 60 to 66 showing the difference. Seemed to me it was about an inch. with the 76 to 72 being longer.

Re: WTB Complete 66 in bed spare tire holder
Well, I don't really know what measurement I need for my 66. Unfortunately, I am out of town until next Wednesday, so I can't measure it to be sure. If anyone can help me out with a measurement, that would be great, if not, I will have to wait until then to pull the trigger. I really appreciate everyone's help on this.

Re: WTB Complete 66 in bed spare tire holder
Just went out and measured my 66 and it is right on 19" from the wood to the top of the bed. Looks like you could take about 3/4" out of one of those and it would fit. The later ones do seem to be much more plentiful.

Re: WTB Complete 66 in bed spare tire holder
I could be wrong, but it appears as though the one 1963c10 posted might be straight, while the others pictured have a definite kink near the bottom. No?

From what I have seen the 67-72 pieces are bent at the bottom and the 60-66 pieces are straight. Greg.
