Re: shipping

Maybe you could hire a forum member from that area. The seats fit nicely in a u-haul Grand Wardrobe box. The actual shipping is only going to be about $100 bucks through greyhound. Someone's is going to have to pick them up, buy the packaging materials, more than just a box, break them down, package them, take them to a shipper, and fill out the paper work. Probably 5-6 hours depending on locations.

I don't mean to be critical but are we talking Elementary School sized seats or Lilly Tomlin sized seats?

Re: shipping

Seats,as in car or truck seats? Front and back seats or a set of truck bucket seats? Still not real specific, but my first thought was Greyhound. They have a 100# limit and I don't think there's any size limit. I've seen a big upholstered swivel rocker that had been shipped sitting in the store room at the depot before.

From their site:

What are your package weight and size restrictions?

The maximum weight per package is 100 pounds. The maximum dimensions that we can accommodate are 30" H x 47" W x 82" L.

I (nearly) ran into issues shipping a core support once because it was very close to 82" once boxed.
