don't stop and look, buy it and send it back. Those hardly ever come up for sale, If you can find one. that would be really coolfixed up and it really doesn't look all that bad.

Bonus is.....its already unbolted from the frame. I don't need the frame.

I have a small trailer i can tow..load it onto it. Bingo.

My wife already wants to kill me because i'm talking about finding a 60-66 Suburban project to go with my '65 C-10 and my son's '56 3200.

This project would kill 13 years of a happy home i'm sure.

I brought a trailer. He said the body is unbolted. I dont need the frame. I have one for a panel already. I am sure i will bring it home.

That's the only one I've ever seen (well 2 now counting the blue one). i would say if you're really interested, you better jump on it. Unless someone one here beats you too it. Probably should have posted right AFTER you got it....

I bought it. Guy that had it was cool. After he had it sandblasted he decided not to bother fixing it. Its rough. All the canopy parts are good. I will graft them onto one of the 2 panel trucks i have. I will post some pics in a couple weeks.

sweet man, glad you got it and saved it from a crusher. Can't wait to see pictures of it. It didn't look like it would take a lot to fix what's there. I guess seeing it in person would make a big difference.

I'm glad someone on the forum got it. Now we are looking forward to pics.
Funny how our opinion changes as we get older. When I was in high school a friend of mine had a beautiful red AD canopy for his daily (only) driver. This was in the late fifties so it wasn't that old at the time, and I could never figure out why he wanted it. Now when I see one restored I think how cool they are, and I'm thinking that maybe he was just ahead of the times, LOL.

LOL.....NOT the case. I just have a small lot that my house is on. My girlfriend went with me to get the Canopy. She digs it. But BOTH my panel trucks( 49 and 53) are both somewhere else. As is the Canopy. Im thinking about buying another house with a larger lot so i can keep all my stuff closer. I had to play Automobile shuffle tonight at my place. Brought home a 1960 Nomad camper......
