Th350 Kickdown Cable Help

I could use a little help hooking up my kickdown cable. The cable that came with my TH350 was way too long so I bought the B&M universal cable. It turns out that the ends that hook up in the transmission are completely different. The other cable end was more like a wire that was fed through a hole on the transmission.

Unfortunately, I broke the little tab that the little wire went through on the transmission side, the one that bolts to the valve with the spring inside it so I can't reuse it. I didn't see a way to hook up this new cable to it anyway. This is the end on my new cable.

Anyway, does anyone know what I need to be able to hook up this new cable to the transmission? Thanks.

No but.......

You can get the correct kickdown cable at just about any auto parts store for about $20 bucks. I've never had much luck with generic, universal, one size fits all parts.

Not sure what you broke... May need to take a trip to a trans shop to find a replacement part.
