Back-up lights
Anyone have ideas on back-up lights for a 55 second series? I can't find anything small yet bright enough. I would like to put them on the panel above the bumper and under the tailgate.

Re: Back-up lights
I thought the bed roll lights would be a little cheaper at Mar-K, I was wrong. They must buy them from the same place.

Re: Back-up lights
In '58, reverse lights were available as a dealer accessory. Part no 987454 covered trucks and Suburbans. The rear lights appeared to be the similar to the white front lights for 55-57 trucks. I posted the instructions in another thread.

I believe the Sylvania number is W2W. Hmmm... These might work well. http://www.ebay.com/itm/BRAND-NEW-Pa...item19d3decbfc Last edited by 1project2many; 09-21-2014 at 01:06 PM. |

Re: Back-up lights
Thanks to all. I like the bed roll idea, but they aren't cheap. I also like the look of the Alan Horvath idea. I might look for these and other marker or signal lights that can be re-purposed. Thanks again...what a great site!!

Re: Back-up lights
I used a set of driving lights from a custom van.
