Highway 15 wiring kit problem
Neither my turn signals nor my horn are working. They were but now they're not. I checked every fuse. I replaced the relay. Nothing. Dead as a door nail. Anyone have any clues where else or what else to check?

Start with one circuit at a time, horn is the easiest. The horn relay works off of a ground supplied by the horn button. You should have 12 volts on the relay anytime the ignition switch is on. When you press the horn button you should hear the relay pull in as the ground is applied from the horn button. Check that first and re-post.

American Auto Wire has pretty good tech support too. I'd give them a call if the problem persists.

Here is the stock turn signal wiring diagram (for a TF you did not say what yours is). It looks like the stock power comes from the accessory tab on the headlight switch to the flasher (stuffed up under the dash) then to the switch. If the new fuse box has the flasher built in to it there should be a wire from the flasher to the signal harness. I suspect that wire is missing or not connected right.

Update... got the signals working. I haven't checked the horn itself to see if it actually works. Checking that tomorrow.

I went to their website and while the kits may seem a tad spendy they have extremely detailed instructions online for each section or circuit.
I've read what Bob said about their good tech support on other forums over the years. Keep us posted on what you figured out and how you fixed it.

Kind of embarrassing but both problems led to faulty grounds. It was that ole paint devil that got me. Filed off some paint. Hooked it all back up. And what do ya know. Like I've said in the past: "Some days it doesn't even pay to chew your way out of the restraints."
