Air Bag Narrowed Upper and Lower Tubular Control Arms
Sold
I have a set of tubular control arms for sale. I'm asking $300 for the set plus the ride. . I'm not sure who the arms are made by because they were my 71 C10 truck when I bought it. The arms will need ball joints for the upper arms and rubber boot covers for the lower arm ball joints. There is also no lower shock mount on the arms but you can weld one on if you like. I'll except money orders or Paypal, if you pay the fee. You can Paypal my account at jmcdonald00@aol.com. The arms are well built but I'm going in a different direction with my truck. Let me know if there's any questions. [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] I forgot to mention that these are narrowed width control arms. When I had to replace my inner and outer tie rods I found out they were too long. I had to trim off some the threads on both tie rods to make them work. Re: Air Bag Upper and Lower Tubular Control Arms
I am interested. I am not using air bags though. I can use the uppers. Not sure about the lowers. What year did they come off? is there additional drop built in? I already have 2 1/2 drop spindles, not sure if I can drop lower.

Re: Air Bag Upper and Lower Tubular Control Arms
They were on my 1971 C10. I'm not 100% sure but I do think they have additional drop in them similar to a cupped stock lower control arm. I'm not sure about the uppers though. I had drop spindles also.

Re: Air Bag Upper and Lower Tubular Control Arms
I am worried about the right height. Running a Big block, with moroso drag springs. I might be able to build and adjustable spring cup for the bottom. I did PM you. I know I can use the uppers anyways.

Re: Air Bag Upper and Lower Tubular Control Arms
I forgot to mention that these are narrowed width control arms. When I had to replace my inner and outer tie rods I found out they were too long. I had to trim off some the threads on both tie rods to make them work right for my alignment.
Also these arms will not work with 15" wheels without spacers. Last edited by Jayschevy; 09-22-2014 at 01:44 PM. |
