New cam milage

EX 4X4 cam, Lift int.432 ex.453, Duration int. 206 ex. 214, Sep. 111.0 600 to 4600 RPM Stared by mfg: Good vac smooth idle and good mileage. Would my mileage go up , down or remain the same. Engine 260 HP crate.

That's Comp Cams 12-231-2, right? That's a good choice for that engine.

For where you are at, Comp 12-300-4 may even be better. That's what I am running. 425 foot pounds or so of torque, which is about the most you can wring from that engine with a cam change alone. With a K10, I get 12 mpg on the highway at 60, ten-ish around town. With a C10, figure more like 14 on the highway and 11-ish around town.
