Good and bad news

Well it all started off with a leaky radiator and I thought while I'm in there I may as well change the timing cover gasket since it's leaking, well then one thing led to another and the oil pan was coming off. So I get the pan down and see it's a 4 bolt main motor, however, it has excessive slop in the third or fourth piston rod... How big if a deal is this? I know I should get it fixed but it's the only thing I have to drive since my jeep just quit me as well. I'll ask my dad as well when he gets in from work

Re: Good and bad news

If the crank isn't damaged throw a new bearing on it.
