64 GMC Suburban Radiator

I am trying to help my dad with his burby. We pulled his radiator and needs replaced but the measurements on his don't match those on any of the catalogs we look at and neither do the pics.

Re: 64 GMC Suburban Radiator

It is quite possible it isn't the original radiator. Some guys will put anything in their vehicle if they think they can make it work.

Yep, that's for sure. My buddy's '65 has a Dodge radiator in it. No idea what it's out of but it's got the Chrysler emblem embossed on it.

Re: 64 GMC Suburban Radiator

I just put one in my 65 that I got through Rock Auto. Part # CU284 (Spectra Premium)
It shows that it is the correct radiator for your suburban also.

I paid $170 (not sure if I paid shipping or not) it was at my house in 2 days, fit absolutely PERFECT, including the auto trans lines, and the best part is that it is made in Canada, not China.
