Re: Whats my truck worth?

What's left to make it running and drivable? It's not feasible to price it without that information, don't you think you would want to know that if you were buying a vehicle? Ask yourself what you would want to know when buying that truck and that's the info we need to that accurately price it.
How many miles on the motor? Have you driven it at all, ie have you tested the engine/trans combo?
How's the paint? It looks good in the pictures, is it as nice as it looks? Was the bodywork done by a shop?
Are the rally wheels the wheels that come with the truck?
What's left to do to the truck to finish it?

IMO you will get WAY more for it if you get it closer to done. At least add headlights and get it drivable. It's much more desirable to buy a running/driving project then to buy a non-running/driving project.

I can understand what you are saying, however, I simply dont have the funds to make it drivable. I really wish I could, but i dont... I would be glad to get it to that point for the buyer if he so wishes.
To answer some of you questions here is what it needs to run.

-Driveshaft
-Radiator
-Fuel system to be installed(I have all those parts)
-Power steering pump and lines
-Floor shifter
-Exhaust(aft of headers)
-Crank pulley
-Couple engine sensors
-Trans control module
-Full brake system

How many miles on the motor? Have you driven it at all, ie have you tested the engine/trans combo?
-The engine and trans milage are unknown, but they have been gone through to check for good life and drivability and they are good! The engine has a PCMofNC Attitude cam and new cam bearings. The heads were completely rebuilt with new springs, 3 angle valve job and resurfaced professionally. New head gaskets, front/rear main seals, and front and rear block end seals. New head bolts. Brand new water pump.

How's the paint? It looks good in the pictures, is it as nice as it looks? Was the bodywork done by a shop?
The bodywork/paint was done by my father(of whom painted professionally) about 4 years ago. The only thing that it needs is a wetsand and buff. There is one imperfection in the bed. I had an airline blow(when I did drive it prior to engine swap) causing the tire to rub the inner fender. The paint is burnt in about the size of a hot pocket

Are the rally wheels the wheels that come with the truck?
Those are the wheels that come with it

Re: Whats my truck worth?

I think 8-10k is a pretty good guess. It's a sweet project. If someone had the time and skills to do the rest of the work I would think they could put it together and make some money. Very cool

Re: Whats my truck worth?

I read through it and didn't look at the other posts and thought $10,000 or a bit less. If you can get it running and driving I think that jumps to $15,000 pretty quickly.

Re: Whats my truck worth?

Hey guys, thank you very much for the help! I listed the truck yesterday afternoon on a local classifieds and it sold this morning for $14k.
