what is the point of having cupped a-arms ?
I was just wondering what the point of having cupped a-arms is,is it so you don,t have to buy drop spindles.I see some people have both but don,t see how it helps when it can only sit so low when aired out, plus your ride height is going to be higher now with the cup sitting lower.

Cupped arms on a bagged truck allow the bag to be at the correct inflated height when at ride height. That is why mine are cupped.

If the bag is going to have to touch the top and bottom of it's "brackets" how can dropping the lower bracket 2" NOT lower it? Which makes you put more pressure into the bag (think height of bag = taller) to get to that same ride height = correct pressure for these giant bags.

Re: what is the point of having cupped a-arms ?
When you sit a bag on the table and take a measurement from top to bottom the height is the same it needs to be a ride height. This keeps the bag in a good point in is shape. So if you put a plate on the bottom of the old spring pocket on a C10 and run the a arm up to about ride height say 3" lower than stock the room for the bag is not as big as the bag. So now you cup the arms to get it what it needs. Pressure is based on the load not length.
