66 GMC rear u bolts
Any of you guys know where I can find a shorter set of rear u bolts
I removed a couple leaf springs to get the height I wanted and of course now the u bolts are too long.... |

Re: 66 GMC rear u bolts
if your bolts are in good condition tighten them down and cut them off, if not autozone keeps them in stock

Re: 66 GMC rear u bolts
Thats not an option since they arent threaded far enough up to tighten since the leafs have been removed, And they are not round at the top like most applications they are square since the leafs are on top

New U-bolts was my project today as well. O'Reilly's had different sizes they could order - I'd try your local parts store and see what they can come up with for you.
