Re: getting ready to lay down some paint on my 52 need some info
I used that paint just last month on my 51' half ton.
I had a tough time getting the color to lay down with the desired finish. I bought the black and the speed green colors. The speed green had too much shine for me (looked like JD Green) so I added a flattening agent that I picked up at a local paint supply house. After the re-spray, the green turned out the way I wanted it to. I liked that the black has a satin look. -Frank |

I have used hot rod flatz and works well. Sprays out and lays out nice. Still have enough blue to do 2 trucks!

For what it's worth I used Vansicle implement paint
it comes in several colors satin, flat and gloss sprays really easy and super easy to blend if you get a scratch etc. the cost is $25.00 a gallon you will need to use there reducer and hardener. it also does not fade in the sun. here is a pic of a F&^d i did about 4 yrs ago
