hard line brackets?
Looking for some nice but not "hot rod fancy" brackets that I can use to route some hard lines on the frame rail. all the lines will be 3/8 (AN6) and I'd like a sheetmetal bracket (vs. aluminum or something) that uses a grommet and can be broken out - i.e. I don't have to cut the line to get it out of the bracket.
Looking at running two trans cooler lines, a fuel line and a return line. |

I've looked at the adel clamps and I've used them before, but with 4 lines to run it gets to be kind of a mess.
ill do some more searching. I guess it's one of those things where I haven't seen what I'm looking for, and i'm kinda thinking at this point about getting my own plasma cut from a google sketchup... |

I'd think a guy could make some using strips of sheet metal and form it on the bench over some 3/8" rod. Weld short pieces of rod at each end to a large piece of flat steel. Then lay the sheet metal on top and start hammering it to shape. leave a space between rod to place a bolt hole in middle. Kind of like the bracket used to hold the lines on frame below master cylinder. Does this make sense to anyone?

yeah, I thought about that but I don't want to do a clamp-type bracket because it holds the lines against the frame...I want them spaced out about 1/4" or so...or at least not in direct contact with the frame. I could use a clamp-type and then put a rubber pad or something...but I think I want an upright bracket.
