Silly question on valve cover gasket thickness for 235

I need to take the head off my 235 to inspect where the water/coolant is leaking. Getting the head gasket kit is no big deal, but shopping for the valve cover gasket seems to present a small challenge.

It's offered in two different thicknesses:
7/32" Thick
5/32" Thick

It's been a while since I've replaced one of these (and even back then, I remember doing a terrible job), so I'm hoping someone here can tell me what should be considered while deciding which thickness to get?

Also, I noticed the 5/32" option comes with grommets - do I need that?

Thanks in advance.

A thicker gasket adds better sealing. Either or will work I'm sure. The one that comes with grommet is probably for the valve cover holes.

Thanks TJ. I don't think I have any holes on my valve cover... oh yeah, the breather I guess. I'll probably get that option anyway.
