Got my new ECE anti-sway bar on yesterday. Wasn't too bad only had to come up with a few new cuss words! LOL

Is this a beefy one? How does she handle now? Can you feel a difference? How was the install? Was it a bolt in?

It's 1 1/4 inch so it's pretty stout. I haven't really been able to test it yet although I did haul my little utility trailer behind the truck yesterday. Since I lowered the truck with new springs and shocks it rides so nice now that I'm pretty sure this anti-sway bar is going to make it even better. It installs pretty easy but it took me quite awhile to remove the two rivets in the cross member on each side. As some on the forum have indicated and now that I've done it I probably could have left the rivets and just drilled new holes in front of them because it would only move the whole bar forward a little bit. I think there's at least an inch of bar sticking out of the bushings on the lower A arm so I may have done more work than required but I was following ECE's instructions.

I have 85' c10 a-arms and x-member under my truck, I wonder if it is the same? I have been looking at getting a sway bar for my truck once I get it lowered.

I'm sure someone on here can answer that for you or maybe do a sway bar search on the forum.

Should fit. I used a 1 1/8" front sway bar off a '86 Suburban on my '67. It bolted right up after removing the aforementioned rivots. Made a HUGE difference btw.

Back in 1988, I installed a front and a rear anti-sway bar on my truck. I just used bars off of the front of a full sized 70's GM car. The mounts fit perfect between the rear frame rails. They also fit perfect on the front too. Here is a picture of the rear bar.
