Vintage Air Question

What parts (under the hood) need to be used from the old ac system when installing a Vintage Air System.
Do I need compressor brackets?
Condensor?
Etc.....?
Please help by listing old original A/C parts that are re-used.
Oh yah. It's for a 72 K20 350/350

Thanks

Darren

Under the hood...nothing. In the cab just the A/C control and the vents

I think you get a newer style compressor and a new bracket.

You get the very sweet Sanden compressor, which is worlds better than any of the OEM compressors these trucks had. The compressor takes a whole different bracket setup, which is included.

As a note, Vintage Air uses Alan Grove brackets . Just hit the clicky there to see the website. Grove brackets are very good. Pretty much all street rod guys use them. They are the only name in town (bracket town that is)

Am I reading thier site correctly. According to the pricing the system with everything but the condensor and dryer is 500 dollars less than the complete system with condensor and dryer. Is that correct? It seems awful high for just those 2 items.

I have those brackets, very well made. Just make sure you get them for the right engine. There is a difference between a 72 and 74.

Going the least expensive route for our Trucks how much does it cost. I saw the price list but I don't know if there are any gotchas you have to also buy that aren't as obvious.
