Anyone in Atlanta needs motor mounts from a 66 sbc?

I was at Pullapart East today in Atlanta on the east side and they have a 66 truck. It's pretty much been stripped however it has the set of V-8 motor mounts in it and I should have pulled them but ran out of time. If anybody is in need of a set these things are rather expensive and you could go there and get them I'm guessing for less than 10 bucks. Also the driver side fender was pretty straight with the typical rusted area near the door but quite fixable.

Good luck!

They are the same as the regular inline six mounts; only the big 292 six used a different right/passenger side mount in '63-'66 (the left/driver's side mounts are all the same).

Yep, but for trucks like my 61 that had the 235, they didn't have these mounts so they are needed to switch to a V8

Re: Anyone in Atlanta needs motor mounts from a 66 sbc?

But they aren't "SBC" mounts, they are just '63-'66 mounts for any truck that didn't have a 292 in it.

(IMO) It just kind of reads like they are something special to someone that doesn't know that the SBC uses the same mounts as the regular sixes from '63-'66; $25 a set seems to be a real price for them (I'd have personally guessed less, but I've seen a couple people get that for them).

Re: Anyone in Atlanta needs motor mounts from a 66 sbc?

Thats fine but the 60-62 trucks do NOT have these mounts and if putting a SBC in, they are needed. I'm not selling them and don't care. Was just trying to help someone else out.

I'm not trying to come after you or anything like that, it's just that there is still a lot of confusion about this and I wanted to clarify.
