Howdy Doodie

Crossed paths online with one of this forum's Staff, and We each joined the other's forums.

I'm the senior Staff member at the Volusia Riders.com site, and of course, Vectorit is a Staff member on this site.

We both belong to the Colt Forum, and Graybeard Outdoors as well.

I'm a life-long GM guy, though I'm more into keeping My car and truck factory stock.

Currently, I own a 2004 Chevrolet Suburban, and a 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix GT, both purchased brand new.

The Pontiac recently turned 40,000 miles on the odometer, and still looks like a new car.

The Suburban has around 70,000 miles on the odo, and it's been repainted once, and had all the lights replaced, since the SW Florida sun destroys paint and plastics.

I've been toying with the idea of having the factory upgrade 327/327 motor installed into My Suburban, for a few extra ponies.

Prolly wouldn't be a bad idea to have the transmission refreshed with all new clutches, bands, seals, gaskets, etc, at the same time.

Anyhoo, I prefer GM, and have since My first car, a 1957 Chevy Belair.
I've also previously owned a 1968 Hurst Olds with the W45 motor, code OW 400 Turbo Transmission, and solid state CDI ignition, AKA, Corvette ignition, plus the 12 bolt 3:91 GM LSD rear.
