What's your speaker system setup look like?
Just trying to get some ideas for my system setup. Trying to see if I should cut a hole into the door for a 6.5 speaker setup and if you have speakers setup behind the seat. Need some ideas!

Re: What's your speaker system setup look like?
I currently have (2) 4" speakers in the dash and 6x9s in the doors. Only reason for the door speakers is the holes were already cut. It sounds pretty good though.
When I go to restore the interior I will replace the 6x9s and do a custom kickpanel (you can buy them however) speaker setup and/or in the rear cab corners.

I'm going to be doing the pre made kick panel speakers, custom dash speakers, and a thin sub under the bench seat. Plenty of volume for that metal box.

Re: What's your speaker system setup look like?
Best setup should definately be 6,5" in kickpanels and add a 4" and a nice tweeter. With correct volume and isolation in the back of the kickpanel it will rock you.
If not satisfied add a 10 or 12" subwoofer under the seat with a good amp. Can definately recommend Kicker and DLS speakers. Built several cars (no trucks) with this configuration and it really rocks. |

If you no longer have the fuel tank behind the seats, here is an option that requires no cutting: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=476976
