This C10 Owners' Indicator For The Economy

The economy must be picking up. Drove my truck to Costco the other day. Iwas in there for 15-20 mins. max. When I came out, there was a note on my truck from a guy begging me to call him if I wanted to sell it.

It's been a long time since that has happened. I have had many notes left and knocks at the door over the years; none recent, however.

Anyone else?

I wouldn't get too excited until I heard a number and saw real money.

Not really excited at all. Have zero interest in selling.

Just an observation is all.

Maybe it is .. My son gets people every other week asking to buy his truck. I also had 2 people ask to buy the 70 nova last week, 3 months ago had a guy offer 15k for my 68 chevelle. And we live in the country just 3 miles before you fall off the planet earth. And we don't drive either very much.

Haven't gotten a note yet but I've had a few people ask me if I want to sell. I usually tell them no not this truck, but I can build you one just like it!

Welding is a lot like sex, you don't have to be great with the rod as long as you thoroughly prep the surface and your good at grinding

Back when I owned my truck the first time (87-89), my mother came back from the store with a note that she found under the windshield wiper. I never called the person back.

Re: This C10 Owners' Indicator For The Economy

I had a friend offer me 15 acres in Placer County Cali for my Blazer. Was going to do it when he found out his mother forged the title documents and sold it out from under him. Gotta love family.

Now that, is pretty extraordinary on multiple levels. I would have done that too.
