Looking to swap my stock manifolds for long tubes,has anyone trying these for fit on there LS or LSX 6.0 conversion http://www.summitracing.com/parts/hed-45660

I'm actually in the middle of this exact same research for my 6.0. I called and talked to Hedman yesterday and they said they work great but you have use their crossmember. It appears to be raised on each side of the trans for header clearance. I've already ordered a Porterbuilt trans crossmember so it doesn't look like they will work for me.

I'm trying to go with 1 7/8" longtubes which are posing to be a bit more of a challenge. I see the Doug Thorley , Pacesetter TBSS and Dynatech 2nd Gen swap headers appear to be the other popular options for longtubes.

Not sure i would bother unless I was going for mega horsepower, you can find some nice fitting shortys good to ~500hp..I have Sanderson shortys that fit fine with no frame mods and do not hang down low...Something to consider anyways.
