OK who's the Briggs & Stratton expert here?
I got a 4 horse horizontal here I just bought used. , no racer engine just daily duty. How much compression should show on a compression gauge when you give it a firm pull or two. I only got 80, seems low. ????????? thanx , DAVE

from past experience 80-100 should be about right - no need for high compression in that type of motor
