Rear step bumper installation
Hi all, I have the rear step bumper option on my 72 K20. I have all the brackets, but don't know how it was installed. The body shop removed it and now I am reinstalling. Pictures would be great if possible. Here is a pic of the style I have...
Thanks

Re: Rear step bumper installation
What do the bracket's look like?
I have the same or very similar bumper on my '72. There is one bracket on each side and mine is essentially a flat piece iron. Just line up the holes on the bracket with the bumper and the frame and bolt them up.

Re: Rear step bumper installation
Yup the brackets are flat 1/4" steel with 3 holes on one side and a slot on the other side with additional home. They have a very slight bend. They are accompanied by an additional slight u shaped piece with tabs on it. The brackets don't seem to line up, but i know it was on the truck. A picture is worth a thousand words.
Thanks
