actually it more of cutting the frame before the crossmember that the trailing arms attach too to shorten the wheel base. I think the wheel base on a blazer is 114, but for some reason I'm thinkin it shorter then that. You should of posted this on the normal board. oh yeah, welcome to the board.

A '69-'72 Blazer's wheelbase is 104", and I believe the SWB is 114"

Blazer frame
diggy;
I have a 72 Blazer that I am parting and the frame will be available for sale soon. It is a a 4x4 frame.I wish I would have seen this post earlier because I just went past Vegas last night on our way back from Disneyland. I was surprised how many of our year trucks are around Vegas and California. Wish I coulda had a hauler with me to drag back some good parts. Anyway if you are interested in it let me know. I would like to get about $100.00 for it. It will probably be pretty well stripped unless you need other parts. E-mail me at davemt36@hotmail.com or call me on my cell @ 208-604-0397. thanks Dave |
