69/70 chevy k10 badging.

What fender emblems were on the 4x4s in 69&70? Just curious I've seen some that have c10 on them but assumed they were posers and converted 4x4s

Example here: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=612858

Could have Custom/10 or CST/10 badges I believe, depending on model. C/10 was base I believe. Would have the 4 wheel drive emblem on the forward aspect of the fender to distinguish as a "K" application.

Re: 69/70 chevy k10 badging.

For 69-70:
"C/10" fender emblem is a base on C/10 or K/10 trucks other than Blazers.
"Custom/10" when it has the Z62 trim option
"CST/10" when it has the Z84 trim option

However if a 69 also has the Z81 Custom Camper option then it would have the
"Custom Camper/10" fender badge as this superceded all trim levels.

A K/10 would also have a "4 WHEEL DRIVE" fender emblem under the marker lamp.

Any truck having an optional engine, for its model, also had an engine call out under the fender trim/series emblem ("8 350" as example). As such 250 and 307 engines were not badged.

Re: 69/70 chevy k10 badging.

All 69/70 K-models had an All Wheel Drive emblem under the front fender side marker. The fender badges had to do with trim level, not model (C or K)

Still won't let me upload from iPhone. I have a pick of the question. If I can find my way to a friendlier computer I'll post it.

Other than lock-outs the only give away is 4wheeldrive badge under reflector.
Also 69/70 have different dials afaik.

This is just trivial info and thanks for the replies

But I could have swore I saw somewhere the 4 wheel drive emblem was one year only?

Not all trucks were optioned with front lock out hubs nor later equipped with them and would have a plain hub cap as base.

Actually the emblem "4 WHEEL DRIVE" was used from 68-70.

Here is my 69. It has c/10 because it is a plain truck, and it says 292 under the c/10 and 4 wheel drive under the marker light.

Just curious, do you have any recent pictures of this truck.
Good looking ride
