1981 GMC Turn signals not working?

Hey guys, I'm needing some help fixing the turn signals on my 1981 crew cab 4x4 GMC. The turn signals arent working and I'm wondering if anyone knows the problem.

1. Hazards work

2. brake lights work

3. when I engage the turnsignal arm, no turn signals

Try changing the flasher relay. You can just use the one for the hazards as a test. Look at the fuse block. The hazard flasher is in the upper LH corner and the directional flasher is in the lower RH corner. Switch them.

If the blinkers start working and the hazards stop working - the flasher that was originally in the directional socket is bad:
