69 c30

I seen a 69 c30 out be hide a house today driving down the road. It has a dump bed and the truck looks ok. It needs cab corners but the rockers and doors looked ok. The engine and engine bay looked good. It drove last year the lady said. I'm going back next week and she's going to have a price for me. So if I can buy it I'm going to ditch the dump bed fix the cab and then I want to bag it or at least get it lower. So I'm looking for some builds or so pics of 67-72 c30 that are bagged lowered whichever. I'm wanting to see them with flatbeds or no beds. I'm still going through the builds and the forum looking myself but some help would be niches. Thanks

Re: 69 c30

Why?

A C30 is going to be a rough riding work truck empty and is meant to have dual rear wheels and a bed. Also a dump bed means a PTO and likely a 4-sp granny gear transmission. If you want low/bagged, why not start with a C10 or C20? Your wheel choices are better and they are meant to have a conventional bed. Also more likely to have an automatic.

I would never want to discourage anyone from a project, but perhaps I don't see your vision?

Re: 69 c30

After doing some more research last night I think it would be better to use a c20 like you have said markdtn. I will just put dually front hubs off a 80s truck for disk brakes and a dually rear with disk brakes. Is there a difference between a c10 and a c20 frame?
