IN WTB: Big Block WYE Pipe - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Looking for a decent exhaust wye pipe to put on my C10 swb big block 402/400 project truck. It has the stock exhaust manifolds on it. Does not have to be shinny and new , but it does have to function properly. I might even be interested in a set of front pipes (for a dual exhaust off the same style truck) if I can not find the wye pipe. Basically I am looking for something to put on this truck that is affordable and I can just slap a cheap muffler on so I can run the engine. Later , after I figure out if I am going to relocate the gas tank, I will get a more permanent exhaust. Thanks.

Unless you have one custom built , there was no y pipe from the factory for bb trucks, they were all true dual exhaust trucks from factory.

I have a 396 for sale and if you are not in a hurry, after it sells I will have the exhaust from it for sale unless the buyer wants it with the engine.

I have a pair of downpipes that bolt to the manifolds. They are about 18" long, 2.5" diameter. Let me know if interested.

You can attach some flex pipe to them and hang some cheap mufflers and have a temporary exhaust system. I can post a pic if you like.

Here are a couple pics. The driver's side pipe has been welded, but does not appear to have been leaking. For $45 I will throw in new donut gaskets.
