Belltech spindles and Boss 338s

Anyone using Belltech spindles with 20x8.5 Boss 338s 5.25 backspace? I've already ordered my drop kit but read lately the Belltech spindles push the wheel out a little further than other spindles. I know 5.25 is borderline as it is.

You will have to roll the lip of the fender. I did. My truck is dropped with bell tech 2" spindles/2" coils and a flip kit in the rear. I'm positive that my 338's are 5.25" bs but I can check when I get home.

Just curious... Did you roll your fenders professionally or old school with a baseball bat?

Old school! First I rolled them with a baseball bat then I tweaked them a little with a dead blow hammer.

And my rims are 20x8.5 with 5.25 BS

I've only rolled fenders once and it cracked the paint. Did I do something wrong?

I started with the narrowest end that I could fit into the wheel well and slowly moved towards the thicker end. I probably rolled it 10 times per wheel well. I also used a wooden bat. I read somewhere that wood was better than aluminum. Probably a hot rod magazine.

Thanks for the tip

Re: Belltech spindles and Boss 338s

The only time I`ve "rolled the lips" I took my cut off wheel and made several relief cuts the whole length of the lip and used a hammer to roll one section at a time. Never had a issue with it this way. Never tried a bat, always thought it would be too easy to bow the fender out this way.

I was wondering if that way would work
