Its a long shot but I need a New factory Take Off or mint used original paint 1965 Red tailgate. Not interested in anything repainted. Must look like this one below.........only no holes !

For sure I'll keep an eye out for ya, but man, as far as new take-off gates go, I'm guessing the ratio of fleets to steps is probably 20 to 1. Good luck, you'll need it...

Well, I have an early green GMC Stepside gate I would trade only. Its a new takeoff .I think your right though, it may be harder, will see.

Did you look on the "Original rust free classics 60-66 truck parts" page?

They have a take-off red tailgate on display when you open the page.
Could be a fleeter...
