Re: anybody use door to door auto transport?
I'll try to find a recent thread about shipping. This isn't exactly it, but may provide some info.
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=620078 I was thinking you could PM these guys about shippers. Here: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=647273

I think they are just a transport broker not the actual carrier. You may make the deal through them but its not going to be their truck that shows up. It will be what ever car trucker is near and will take the load at the price they are offering it at.

Buyer of my 1965 Mustang used these guys to ship from Iowa all the way to Chile (Yes, the country). Never heard anything bad about the delivery. I thought they were very professional when the car got loaded. Last time I saw the car drive away. On the very back of the trailer.

I guess I should have mentioned that it went to Chile by way of the Port of Baltimore.

I have shipped two trucks with Henry Metzger www.hjmshipping.com. He is a broker but knows how to work the load boards and both transactions went without a hitch.
